Brooklyn- Queens - Staten Island
Federal disaster officials visited parts of Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island Wednesday to see the ravages of last week's tornados, according to the New York Daily News.
City officials are hoping Federal Emergency Management Agency inspectors will help them make a case for disaster relief.
Crews are clearing hundreds of fallen and uprooted trees that cracked sidewalks, smashed cars and damaged homes.
