Dog Killed in DiMattina Playground Dog Run

Brooklyn

A tiny Schnoodle was fatally mauled by two other dogs inside a Brooklyn dog park, the dog's owner said today, according to the New York Post.

Kaiser, a 20-pound Schnauzer and poodle mix, died following last Saturday night's attack at DiMattina Dog Park near Hicks Street in Carroll Gardens after the Alaskan Malamutes pounced on the small pooch.

Kaiser's owner Alexis Russo, 29, who watched as her dog was killed, posted fliers in her neighborhood this week detailing the attack.

"Kaiser's injuries were extensive: deadly bite wounds all over his body," she wrote.
Kaiser, who was five, was put down because of his extensive injuries.

Russo said Robert Harney is the owner of the killer dogs, named Jack and Ginger, and that the deadly attack took place because he let them run off their leash.
