A 50 year-old male was attacked this morning by 4 youths while playing tennis at the World’s Fair Playground (Grand Central Pkwy. & 62nd Dr.) In Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The attack happened just before 10 A.M. The victom was struck in the head and face and suffered cuts and bruises. NYPD and EMS responded to the scene. The man was transported by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital. - Geoffrey Croft
