Two Housing Authority employees were wounded yesterday when they got caught in the middle of a wild shootout at an East New York public pool, authorities said, according to the New York Post.
The NYCHA maintenance workers -- a man and a woman -- were sitting on a bench when they were struck at 12:30 p.m. by the Howard Pool at the Howard Houses in East New York.
The man, 27, was shot in the stomach and the 54-year-old woman was struck on the leg. They were in stable condition.
Anthony Holloway, 27, was spotted running from the scene and taken into custody on charges of assault and weapons possession.
The Parks Department pool is located off of East New York Avenue.
