Two Shot, One Killed In Eight Oaks Triangle Over Parking Spot

In just minutes, foul-mouthed bickering erupted into murder.


Two Queens brothers who were shot, one fatally, near a quiet neighborhood park Thursday night had moments earlier gotten into a seemingly harmless argument with van riders who couldn't drive around the brothers' double-parked SUV, witnesses told The Post yesterday.


"We're all destroyed as a family," a sobbing Valentine Adanes said of the death of his son Roberto, 25, and the wounding of his son Jovanny, 30. "[The suspects] should not be walking in society."

In a chilling rundown of how an ordinary parking fight turned into deadly road rage, witnesses told The Post that the brothers' double-parked Cadillac Escalade blocked a white van from making a turn onto Austin Street near 84th Road at about 8:15 p.m

The van, which had Connecticut plates, then roared off as the brothers got out of their vehicle across from Eight Oaks Triangle, a popular neighborhood park near their home.
