A 59-year-old man was found at the waterline on Manhattan Beach near Oriental Boulevard and Hastings Street on August 9th at 7:30 a.m. He was taken to Coney Island Hospital where he died.
The Medical Examiner determined that the cause was accidental drowning. Heart disease was a contributing factor said the ME's office. - Geoffrey Croft
