Female-19, Assaulted In Flushing Meadows-Corona Park

A 19-year-old hispanic woman was beaten in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on Friday night NYC Park Advocates has learned. 

The teen had bruises and scratches on her face according to the police. 




The incident occurred at 11:30pm near the New York Hall of Science Fountain on United Nation Ave N and Avenue of Science. 

Police are trying to determine if she was sexually assaulted and whether she was robbed.

The incident is being investigated by Queens Special Victims unit.

The woman was apparently intoxicated at the time of the occurrence.
