Man Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Toddler In Riverside Park Playground Bathroom

Police arrested Jason Carroll, 30, of West 56th Street on Tuesday night for allegedly sexually abusing a toddler in the bathroom at Neufeld Playground at Riverside Park near West 75th Street.  A good Samaritan spotted him abusing the 2-year-old girl, and alerted a Parks Department employee, who called the police. 

Carroll was watching the child for a few minutes. During that time he inappropratly touched the girl and exposed himself, according to a police source.

A sicko sexually assaulted a toddler in Riverside Park, police said Wednesday, according to the New York Daily News. 

The 30-year-old man was arrested for the disturbing attack Tuesday evening, police said. 

A Good Samaritan in the upper West Side park became aware of the abuse and alerted a Parks Department employee, who then called the cops, police said. 

 The 2-year-old girl was treated at an area hospital. Investigators were searching a stroller — located near the men’s bathroom across from W. 75th St. — for evidence early Wednesday. Police said the suspect knows the toddler’s mother.
