Police arrested the suspect wanted in last week's attempted playground kidnapping in Central Park.

The woman was identified as Cecile Jackson, 35 who has no known address.

The woman has apprehended after she approached two women sitting on a park bench with their children on Central Park West between 85th and 84th Street on Tuesday around 7 p.m.

Jackson began speaking incoherently and waved for their children to come over to her.

The women flagged down police.

She is charged with one count of Attempted Kidnapping in the Second Degree stemming from the May 12th  incident where police say she tried to remove a two-year-old boy from Heckscher Playground.

The boy's nanny was pushing his sister in a swing when the suspect removed him from a "bucket swing, held the child, and attempted to walk out of the park, screaming (in substance): THIS IS NOT YOUR KID," according to the complaint.

The child's nanny stopped the suspect from exiting the park and removed the child from the suspect's arms.

jackson's next court date is June 18th.
