Two Dead, Another Injured In Devoe Park Shooting


Police say two people are dead and one is injured after a tripe shooting in the Bronx Thursday night, according to WPIX News.

Cops arrived at near the vicinity of West
Fordham Road and University Avenue at Devoe Park just before 8 p.m.

Officers discovered three Hispanic men suffering gunshot wounds and EMS transported all the victims to St. Barnabas Hopsital.

Upon arrival, the two younger vicitms -- a 17-year-old and 22-year-old -- who were shot in the torso were declared dead.

The third victim, a 40-year-old, was shot in the leg and is listed in stable condition.

The names of the victims are pending proper family notification.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

  2. I grew up in Woodrow Wilson Apartments facing devoe park in the 50's-60's. You never had to worry about walking in the park. It is very sad

    1. I also grew up in the Woodrow Wilson apartments. You are right. You never had to worry about safety. Of course, in those days, everybody looked out for everbody.

  4. i grew up in woodrow wilson apartments and never had a problem with anything or anyone in the park. times were good then. seems as things have gotten out of hand. too bad.
