A 16-year-old boy was shot twice while playing basketball in Morningside Park last evening. The youth was in the park on West 118th Street at Morningside Drive at about 7 p.m. Thursday when a gunman walked up and fired twice, hitting him in the mouth and the hip, police said. The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in stable condition.

Last night there was another shooting at 116th at Morningside Drive at around 8:00PM across from the children's playground. A teen pulled out a gun and fired three times at another teen. I don't know if the teen was hurt.
