City Relents On Ground Zero Mosque Film Screening In Parks

City-Wide

We are pleased to announce that we have succeeded in getting the New York City Parks and Recreation Department to allow us to show Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mosque in some of its public parks during the week leading up to the 10th anniversary of 9/11!, the
Christian Action Network announced.

We’d like to thank everyone who supported us, and thank the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) that issued a “demand letter” on our behalf.

We are still working out the logistics behind this campaign, but we have reserved the following five parks for the screenings: Central Park, Tompkins Square Park, West Harlem Piers, Washington Square Park and Battery Park. We’ll have exact dates and details for you soon!

As we told you last week, the New York City Parks and Recreation Department initialed stalled in giving us the seven permits we requested. With help from you, the ACLJ and specifically the ACLJ’s representing New York attorney, Brett Joseph, the Department responded positively and gave us a list of seven parks and eight available dates.

But there’s still more to do! We need YOU to help get people to show up. We’re counting on you to make these events successful! Stay tuned for details!
