Ice Pick Used In Central Park Robbery

Police say a 29-year-old male was attacked and robbed of his I-Phone and money in Central Park by a man wielding an ice-pick. The incident occurred inside the park near the east Drive between E. 108th Street and 5th Ave at 9:00pm on Wednesday night.

The victim was leaving the park when the suspect approached, and allegedly punched him in the face.

The suspect is described as a black male about 35 years old, 5-foot-9 and weighing 155 pounds.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-557-TIPS.
