A teen was robbed at gunpoint by two thugs on the Lower East Side, police said, according to the New York Post.
A gunman approached a 15-year-old boy at the Little Flower Playground at Jefferson and Madison streets at about 4:40 p.m. on June 12 and flashed a weapon, officials said.
He demanded cash and the victim’s phone, while a second suspect acted as a lookout, authorities said.
The robbers fled with property belonging to the teen, who was not injured, cops said.
The armed suspect stands about 5-foot-9, weighs 170 pounds and was wearing a black hoodie.
The lookout stands 5-foot-7 and was wearing a gray sweatshirt.
