The NYPD is looking for a man wanted for rape in Brooklyn.
On Tuesday, May 29, at just after 3:00 a.m., a 26-year-old woman was approached by the suspect at a bus stop near East New York Avenue and Ralph Avenue, police said. The man told her that he had a gun and then forced her inside of Lincoln Terrace Park, where he proceeded to sexually assault her while displaying a gun, officials said, according to CBS News.
The man managed to get away and the victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where she remained in stable condition, the NYPD confirmed.
The suspect is described by police as a black male in his early 20′s, standing six-foot-0 and weighing 150 pounds. He was least seen wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt, red, black and white sneakers and blue jeans.
