3 Shot In Thomas Jefferson Park

Three men were shot and injured in an East Harlem park Saturday night.

The men were shot a few minutes before 10 p.m. in Thomas Jefferson Park on 113th Street and First Avenue.

Two men were taken to Harlem Hospital and the other victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, all with non-life threatening injuries according to the police. 

Police said no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

At one point the police searched the park's pool but say no firearm has been recovered.

Teens Held Up By Knifepoint In Thomas Jefferson Park

Eight teens were held up by knifepoint by alleged gang members in Thomas Jefferson Park yesterday. The attempted robbery occurred at approximately 3:30P.M. The teens ran into the recreation center for help after the assailants demanded their cell phones. No items were taken from the teens. NYPD responded to the scene. - Geoffrey Croft

Man Stabbed to Death After Tom Jefferson Pool Fight

A fight at an East Harlem pool spilled out onto the street last night, leaving one man stabbed to death, cops and sources said, according to the New York Post.


Arron McMillon, 25, of East Harlem, was found just after 7 p.m. lying on First Avenue near East 117th Street with deep cuts to his stomach, according to police reports.


Sources said McMillon was chased from the nearby Jefferson Pool for several blocks before his assailant caught up to him and stabbed him to death.
