More than two months after a vehicle demolished a fancy fountain in Prospect Park, the New York City Parks Department has left it laying in pieces, adorned with yellow tape similar to that used a crime scene, according to WPIX.
While park goers expressed dismay at the mess to PIX 11 News, Parks Department spokeswoman Vickie Karp explained it this way in a statement:
